I am a tenant – can I still take part?

Yes, as a tenant you normally pay the energy bills for your property so it’s in your interest to take part. We’ll need to contact the owner of the property to obtain their permission, and we often find they will pay the costs of the survey – as landlords are now required by law to provide an Energy Performance Certificate whenever they put a rental property on the market.
